My family of 4 is going to WDW in mid-may. I was sent a discount code and got room at POR for $79 a night. Do you think if I search around I'll be able to get this room any cheaper? I don't mean to sound greedy or ungrateful as I know that this is a good price. Just wondering if anybody thought I would be able to do better? Debi

:earseek: :earseek: Your joking right!

I have heard this was the cheapest rate for May this code season.

Take the rate and run with it! I'm paying $30 more, and I have an Annual Passholder discount! Lucky you!

Have a great trip!

:earsboy:

Even during Value season, with AP rates, it doesn't get any better than the $79! We too got that code and have thanked the good Lord above for it!

Postcard codes cannot be shared. There is a PIN code on it that is unique to the recipient.

Can you please let me know how you get these discount codes? I am new here and am unfamiliar. Thanks-

Postcard codes seem to be sent randomly and there's no rhyme or reason to how you can get one. I've had postcards arrive in the mail that were addressed to my DS13. I think it was because he had a subscription to Disney Adventures Magazine. I've received postcards addressed to me in my maiden name and I've been married for 20 years!

I would suggest registering at the disney.com website (free) and ordering the vacation planning dvd (also free). At least that gets your name in their system.

Good luck finding a discount, sammysmom, and welcome to the DIS!

If you can get a job for Disney, you can get it a little cheaper as a CM, but this price is pretty close to what their employees pay. Maybe you should think about moving down to a value resort to save money.

I too would love to have a code like that!!! I am planning a trip for July at CSR, and am looking for discounts before I book. PLEASE let me know if you hear of any good discounts.

I think you should be able to use that code for a value and it will probably be around $59 a night. That would save a little money. I got a code adn we are stying at AS Movies in may for $59 a night. I couldn't be more excited. i thought about upgradign to a mod for $79 a night, but they boys 2,5,8 will be much more happy with all the toy story characters, etc. To me, the values seem much more fun and disney like than any of the mods.

my kids are 4 and 6 so we will be spending a lot of down time at the resort. yes, our code is good for a value resort for $59 per night but I have heard that they are not as nice so we opted for the moderate. Heard pools are nicer themed and have slides as the values do not. With taxes, it would save us about $15 per night at the value. Debi

Thats the best you will get. I have the code also. Its 59.00 for value and 79.00 for mod. I didnt check deluxe but I'm sure it applies there too. Its good until july 4th.

Code ADN is no good
use code BEG. I just called disney and it IS good.
Enjoy !!

Is this correct:

BEG is NOT a general public discount code. It is a post card code that has a PIN associated with it and only individuals who have a postcard pin can use it?

The BEG code was out awhile ago and its one that does need a PIN. I called CRO and that's what I was told.
