I just got a pre-approved invite for the Disney Rewards Visa card from Chase bank. Can you experts tell me if there are any real advantages for carrying this card? We are also DVC members.

The rewards are only $1 for every $100 spent (sometime the give 2x or 3x points).
But you do get alot of free extra offers and exclusive invites and so forth.
I have had mine for some time and use all the perks it offers all the time.
DisneyVisa ONLY meet & greet at both DL and WDW the free pic was nice but to be the only ones in with the characters was great interaction with us in both places.
0% interest on some Disney Vac and even DVC downpayments are offered at different times.
I have had mine for about a year now, and find really nothing that special about it. Yeah, I get some offers, but not anything worth mentioning. I am earing dollars, but slowly.
I'm a charter member from Day 1 of the Disney VISA offer. At first, it offered really great opportunities--we saved over $400 on our resort because of it. Now it's basically a way of earning free dollars to spend at WDW (make sure you activate your reward dollars well in advance of your trip) and you get some flyers in the monthly statement with "savings" on Disney products and services. It meets our needs but there are more lucrative rewards on other cards; just not tied to Disney.
