Disney Rewards not showing up?

I have tried reading the FAQ's on the Chase site, as well as the brochure, to figure out of my purchases were not valid to be applied to the Rewards, but as far as I can tell, nearly EVERYTHING you use the card for should earn rewards.

However, two cycles ago I used it to reserve a hotel room (to the tune of $458), and last cycle, I bought a video game with it, trying to use it more often to accrue the points.

Neither is showing up yet in my Rewards bank. I was wondering if it takes a little longer for it to show up, or if hotel ressies are not counted? I'm so confused! Thanks for any help!!

That's really weird. I've always had 1% of the total new charges for the month (as listed on my monthly bill) added to my Rewards balance at the same time the new latest bill is generated. Chase does round down I believe so if the only charge you had the month you charged that hotel then you would get $4 added to your Rewards balance. The amount should be added when the new billing cycle begins. If this didn't happen then I'd be on the phone with Chase asking why. I don't believe there are any exclusions to what gets the 1% Rewards.

Thanks, I just sent them an email, but I should probably call. I haven't noticed a problem before, and I used the Chase card for the reservation because I was looking forward to getting the rewards points, you know?

I think what you maybe seeing is that the room you reserved has not been "officially charged" until you check in, therefore you may not receive your points until that time.

Just a guess on my part!
