I thought this thread had to do with the Disney reward visa.. I''m wrong? I was looking for info to find out how it works. Tiffany

This board is for any discussion regarding programs in which you can earn rewards for Disney. Disney Visa is just one way that you can build up funds for Disney. There are also rewards programs like...

www.sunshinerewards.com
www.cashduck.com
www.mypoints.com

and others where you can take surveys, do trial offerss, etc. to earn extra money for Disney.

I hope that helps a little bit. If you have any questions, feel free to ask :) Many of us have earned signiifcant amounts of money by participating in rewards programs. We are a friendly bunch and typically there is always someone here who can help with virtually any question!

By "it" do you mean the Disney Visa? If so it is pretty basic-you earn 1% Reward dollars for each dollar charged-ie. you charge $100 you get $1 reward, the rewards can be put on a card to be used at the parks, the Disney stroe, cruise line or other Disney rewards. It has no annual fee. Alot of people comment about the APR-don't know about that since I don't carry a balance. I like it-use it like cash to earn rewards.

The Disney VISA is a rewards credit card offered by Chase.

There is no annual fee for the card.

It offers 1% back in the form of Disney Dream Rewards Dollars on all purchases but not cash advances, interest, late fees or balance transfers. Sometimes, Chase will offer additional Dream Dollars for making purchases above and beyond your normal spending habits.

All Dream Rewards Dollars are added to your account at the end of the billing cycle. Amounts are rounded to the nearest dollar. Your account must be in good standing (no late or missed payments) in order for you to be able to redeem your Rewards Dollars.

Dream Rewards Dollars expire 5 years after they are earned as long as they stay in your account and not on a Rewards Card.

You can earn a maximum of 750 Dream Rewards Dollars annually. That's about $75,000 in charges.

You must have a minimum of 20 Dream Rewards Dollars to cash out the first time. Any subsequent cash outs must be at least 10 Dream Rewards Dollars. The Dream Rewards Dollars are sent to you on a giftcard which expires on Dec. 31 of the year following the year that the card was ordered. You can add more Dream Rewards Dollars to the card at any time afterwards as long as you have at least 10 Dream Rewards Dollars to transfer to the card.

Dream Rewards Dollars can be used like cash in participating locations in WDW, DLR and DCL, as well as the Disney Store and disneyshopping.com. They can be used to purchase tickets from Disney and to pay for your resort or package reservation. However, you must transfer them from your account onto a rewards card in order to be able to use them.

Disney Dream Dollars cannot be exchanged for cash or a cash equivalent (like Disney Dollars). But there are reports from some DISers that they have been able to purchase Disney giftcards at disneyshopping.com or Disney Dollars at their local Disneystore with their Dream Dollars.

Disney VISA sometimes offers special Broadway ticket prices, cardmember perks at the parks and special package codes for vacations. If you pay for a Disney vacation package with your Disney VISA, you can get 6 months of 0% interest on that purchase.

Whew! Are there any other questions?

Oh, and I noticed recently on the Chase/Disney Visa website that if you have the card already, you can refer friends & family and earn 25 Rewards Dollars when they're approved. And your referred friend will also get the same when they are approved and use the card for the first time. (Just as a reminder: Please, do not post referral requests or offers here on the DIS, it's against the posting guidelines.)

If you're signing up for the first time, check this link for a $50 Disney World Giftcard when you're approved and use the card.
www.disneyworld50certificate.com or call 1-877-669-0646 and mention key code 69y501.
OR
Apply thru the disneyworld.com website for a $40 credit on your account following your approval and first purchase.

We have the disney reward visa and love it. We used it last year to book our disney trip, and made payments on it at 0% interest, so by the time we went, it was already paid for. :cool1:

We aren't going to disney again this year, unless I can quickly convince dh it would be nice to go at xmas time!

In 2 years, I have almost earned $700 from the Disney Visa to take as spending $$$ to WDW when we go in June/July. I have earned another apx. $1000 from the 3 reward sites that I do. Sunshine Rewards, Quick Rewards and CashDuck. I also do Creations Rewards, but I think they are slow going. There is a place to sign up for $50 Disney rewards if you sign up for the Disney card. I don't remember what the site is. Someone else here might be able to help you on that. And if you sign up under someone else, like a PP suggested, they will earn $25 in rewards. Have fun earning money!
