Disney Reward Dollars at Disneyland good neighbor hotel?

Does anyone know if you can or have any experience in booking a Disneyland good neighbor hotel package through Disney and paying for it using Disney Rewards Dollars from the Disney Visa? I have never booked a DL package and wasn't sure if the Disney Reward Dollars can be applied to a good neighbor package. Thanks.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I do know that the Disney Visa offers financing promos for packages booked through the Disney Travel Company and I think good neighbor hotel package bookings are included. That suggests to me that you may in fact be able to book such a package and use reward dollars to pay toward it. I think you may just need to contact the Disney Travel Company directly and find out.

not sure, but I am guessing no. from what I remember they can be used at Disney stores and at Disney owned businesses at Disneyland resort and WDW.

there is something about getting vouchers for movies and buying Disney merchandise at participating retailers, but I didn't see anything on hotels.
