According to the Disney Parks Blog, Bob Iger just finished up a major presentation over in China.
“We are building something truly special here in Shanghai that not only showcases the best of Disney’s storytelling but also celebrates and incorporates China’s incredibly rich heritage to create a one-of-a-kind destination that will delight and entertain the people of China for generations to come,” said Iger speaking to media during today’s presentation at the Shanghai Expo Centre. “We are taking everything we’ve learned from our six decades of exceeding expectations – along with our relentless innovation and famous creativity to create a truly magical place that is both authentically Disney and distinctly Chinese.”
Exciting new specifics from Shanghai:

It will feature 6 themed lands, and all sorts of new immersive attractions. The lands consist of:
1)Mickey Avenue
A)Photo Opportunity Spot
B)Largest Store in the Park, equivalent to the emporium
2)Gardens of Imagination
A)Fantasia Carousel
B)Dumbo the Flying Elephant
C)Castle Shows and other entertainment
D) Mickey's Storybook Express, an all new parade going along Disney's longest parade route. (I'm not sure if that includes the defunct World Showcase Tapestry of Nations Route which was infamously long)
E) Ignite the Dream, a Nighttime Spectacular of Magic and Light. (This is said to use drones, but this is the first we've heard about it)
3)Fantasyland
A)Voyage to the Crystal Grotto
B)Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
C)Peter Pan's Flight
D)Winnie the Pooh
C)Wonderland Maze
4)Adventure Isle

C)Roaring Rapids
5)Treasure Cove

More on the roster of attractions is available here: https://www.shanghaidisneyresort.com.cn/en/about/
Nothing unexpected except there will be Marvel and Star Wars areas:
"In addition, close to Tomorrowland, Shanghai Disneyland will have the new Star Wars Launch Bay and Marvel Universe. Neither is scheduled to include a major new attraction, but they will feature sets, props, memorabilia, and other experiences to immerse visitors in two of the company’s newest and most valuable franchises that will be driving new movies and other content for many years to come."
So maybe just fun places to get your photo taken and buy souvenirs?
Also of note, they said of their Fantasyland, it "will have a new version of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train that recently opened in Orlando." I don't know if that means new as in a new copy or an actual update.
Seems like it's shaping up to be a nice park, with a great diverse set of offerings.
Additional analysis, with some of the struggles Disney has faced, but overwhelmingly glowing:
