Disney resorts seems to be unavailable for booking

Hi,

Trying to book a WDW resort for August 2020 and every website (including WDW and secondary providers like hotels.com) show no availability. I then searched with a whole bunch of different dates and same response. Its almost like all WDW resorts have been taken off line. Anybody have any idea what is going on?

I just had the same problem. I tried different dates and resorts. EVERYTHING is booked. Hope this is a glitch.

I’ve just had a play on the U.K. site and many dates and resorts are available for August.
must be a glitch on us site.

They are dropping new discounts tomorrow so they are unavailable now. Who knows why but it always seems to happen just before a new discount.

I have been playing around with dates for April, September & the week after Thanksgiving. All sorts of resorts are coming up, not seeing any issues with the website.

I’m not surprised you’re not finding much at value resorts for February. Not sure which dates you’re looking at, but many schools have breaks around President‘s Day. Schools here have a full week off & many people head to WDW. There are cheerleading competitions several weekends in February and those groups are booked at the values. And I think the princess half marathon is in February too. This really is last minute to book a trip for February.

I am looking at April, September & end of November/ beginning of December. Not having any problems with the website & am seeing availability at the resorts I am interested in.

I've checked all of February and there are no rooms for moderates either. There are a total of 3 deluxe resorts showing availability for suites. Out of everything on property that doesn't make any sense.

Believe it or not, that has been happening with availability recently. For example, early December looked like that for months. Disney resorts do run almost fully booked year round now. Plus Disney allots rooms to other distributors which they didn’t do years ago. So you might find a room at an online booking site or a travel agent even when Disney shows nothing. But what you are seeing just isn’t unusual any,ore.

As suspected, free dining was dropped today, so if you're trying to book, try again today. Don't call if you can help it, because you'll be on hold for a very long time, if you can even get through.
