Disney Resorts (Art of Animation) Adult charges

Wasn't able to locate this information anywhere so thought I would ask. We are thinking about booking the art of animation little mermaid room for 4 adults. The rates pop up and then when I read the terms and conditions it states that there may be an extra charge for adult 3 and 4. Just wanted to see if they do charge extra in addition to the rate provided (as I did enter in there would be 4 adults) and if so how much do they charge? Also wanted to see if there are any additional resort fees that are not included on the online rate. I have never stayed at Disney before so unsure if there are additional daily fees. TIA!

Yes, anything over two adults in the Little Mermaid rooms will result in an adult charge for each adult per night.

$10 each so for you $20 per night extra on top of room rate. I would think if you entered in 4 adults, it would be calculating that rate in with it. You can try again with 2 adults and compare the rates.

If you see a hotel rate, anywhere, that's labeled "double occupancy," it means the nightly rate is higher if there are more than two people in the room. All Disney resort rates are quoted as double occupancy.

Only it gets a little confusing at AoA because the Suites are not double occupancy. There are no extra charges for adults so you could book 6 adults in a suite for the room rate.

Oops, thank you, you're right. Suites and villas are not double occupancy. Sorry about that.
