This was an absolutely wonderful idea!!! Am enjoying the pictures immensely! I've been searching and searching for links of pics of the resorts trying to find pics and this is a great way of posting pics on one thread. Keep it up everyone!!


P.S. Am especially excited about the Boardwalk pics - am looking forward to our trip next March!!

You post a picture just like you do clipart. The short version is:

Now for the longer version.

The picture must be stored on the internet first. You don't have to design a website, just upload your photo to a site. We have a free photo storage site right here on the DIS.

The DIS Photo Gallery

You'll log in there using the same name and password you use on the DIS. After you log in, click on the upload photos button and follow the instructions.

After you've uploaded your photo, click on your photo so that it opens in a new window. Right click on the photo, click on properties, then highlight and copy the URL. It should look something like this:

Go to your user cp > edit profile> scroll down to the signature box, and then paste the URL where you would like it to appear in your signature. Be sure to type

after the URL. There can be no spaces, carriage returns or extra characters in there.

Then scroll to the bottom of the page and click on submit modifications. If this is your first time to have a signature, you will need to click the Show Signature box and the bottom of the posting window next time you make a post.

We're staying at the Dolphin for 10 nights in Dec. We've booked a King w/balcony & resort view. It would be great if this is what we had to look forward to.

Yep, we were in room number 6025, East wing!

It was especially nice at night when the lights are on! This room also affords a great view of the entrance to the Boardwalk. The Friendship boat that services the Epcot resorts, Epcot and MGM will pass right by and is also fun to watch (this photo is from last year when we were in room number 4019, east wing again):

We also could see the fireworks from Illuminations as well, and most of the time we watched them on the balcony in our pajamas!

It's a bit of a hike from the elevators, but it is so worth it!

Hope you get a similar view when you go!!
