Disney resort discount rumors for remainder of 2009

has anyone heard of any additional discounts for WDW for 2009. Unfortunately my family has to travel to the world in the summer, ive got my fingers crossed that the ecnomic slow down will cause WDW to expand the discounts they announced for the spring of 09

any info or rumors would be great!

I have no info, but based on all the discounts we saw for summer '08, I'm sure there will be plenty next summer. I dont see things getting better anytime soon with the economy...

Curiously I ask, where did you see predictions for high crowds next year? do you know if these predictions were generated before or after the recently announced promos (must have been after as Disney obviously believes the numbers will be down and hence the promos)

I asked if you could apply a discount code later if you get one and they said yes, just call back and you could compare the code versus the 4/3 deal.

Unoffical guides crowd prediction calendar on their website.The numbers are up compared to this past year.Usually though they end up tweeking them around.I just find it odd that the week I am going in 2009 is the same week I went in 2008 but the predictions in crowds are higher for 2009 and I am hoping they go down a little.

Im thinking that they prepared those predictions prior to the big drop in the market, I cant imagine a big increase in any discretionary spending with the economy the way it is

I'm hoping for a room only code or free dining code for April/May for those of us that can't take advantage of the 7/4 deal.

While a full week in Disney is ideal, we can only swing 3-4 nights this trip.

A code may mean the difference between BC/YC and POFQ for us.
