Okay, I received my reservation packet this week via UPS. SO excited for my trip, but I have a question. Inside was a Disney's PhotoPass card telling me to register now and save big. If I register the card now does my 30 days expiration also start now? (There is a code on the back to enter at the website) But since there are no pictures on it yet, does it start my first day in the park or whenever I get my first PP picture taken? Is it really worth the special savings on photos and more before my trip?
:santa:

The card never expires, only the offer. It goes into effect after the first picture. It is a good savings if you plan to purchase the CD to register before you go. Also a good to know - if you have pictures from a previous trip still on the site, take the old card with you and have them transfer the old pictures to the new card and they will be on your CD and have a new start on the 30 days.

Of course only pictures taken within the last 30 days will still be available. I don't see the need to transfer any pix, just put all your cards on one account.

According to another post I read they say (according to stitchkingdom.com) that your 30 days won't start until you first view the pix online. I don't know if this is true or not.

Do you know about the Photo Gallery CD you can buy at DLR for $59.95 that inc. a coupon code for a free PhotoCD ($59.95) AND free shipping ($2.95)

If you (or someone you will be there with) has an AP you can get 10% off the Gallery CD. You can save about $8 (with free shipping and AP discount) this way. The coupon code has no expiration date.

You get over 300 pictures taken at DL, DCA, and a few others. They were taken last year so no WOC. The ones taken at night are great and I love the ones with no people in them. ;)

I haven't read what the discount is if you pre-register. I would like to know this as well.

I had pictures on a card from September when we were there that would have expired October 29th. When we went back to WDW October 25th I had those pictures transfered to a new card so they started a new 30 days and will be on my pre-registered CD from this trip. Just a way to get 2 trips on the same CD, if I had not transferred them to the new card they would not have qualified for the pre-paid CD according to the guidelines for prepaid. It states that you must use a new PP card and only pictures taken after you pay will be on the CD.
