Disney Reps at My School

In about an hour I am heading towards a meeting on my campus for the Disney College Program. It's something I've been really interested in for a while.
I'm currently a freshman (technically a sophomore with credit hours). I love Disney, and I want to do something away from school for a semester.
Does anyone have any suggestions to make to me?
Is there anything I should know before I jump into this program? I've been trying to do some research at sites that feature people like y'all who have actually done this before.
Does anyone prefer spring or fall or fall advantage?
I know this post is totally vague but I was just looking for any general tips you'd like to hand out or advice to someone like me who has no idea what she's getting into.

What did you think of the classes? Did they transfer well with your school? (It isn't necessary for me, but I'm still interested)
Also I've been browsing the threads, and such. Would anyone care to explain the different acronyms?

Welcome! I hope you enjoyed the presentation. I did my program in the Spring, and absolutely loved it. I worked in Merchandise in the Magic Kingdom. If you are interested in the Fall program, keep in mind that you will have to work on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. If you have a great time on your program, you always have the option of extending at the end. You're getting yourself into the experience of a lifetime. Very few people can say they worked at Disney. Be prepared to make a lot of friends from around the world, and spend a lot of time in the parks! Check out more information at disneycollegeprogram.com.
