I decided to add QS dining to the ressie I made 2/16. We had park passes on our ressie so it was already a package. The cm‘s computer was down so she had to call guest services (along with every other cm). Finally came back with total they gave her and said we were set. I thought it sounded high so I added it up and it was $175 more than it should have been. I called back and the second cm couldn’t figure out why. Put on hold while they called guest services.....finally found out why and they fixed it since we weren’t told of the increase that had occurred with room rates. Great cam‘s but I was on the phone for about 2 hours total. Just be aware if you plan on adding anything to check the room rates first. Must be part of the increases that have been floating around to save money with the over seas parks closed and cruise ship ressies iffy.

Yes, it looks like prices went up across the board. So glad I got my reservations in before that happened.

We’re staying at POR on Saturday night and paying $298 for the one night. It’s much more than I would normally pay but it’s about all we could get. We booked last minute to do maternity pictures

its Going to be that kind of year for me. First, DH decides he wants to go AFTER the ticket price increase, then, granted its only 12 days since we booked, but we decided to lock in dining right after they raised the room rates. 🙄

I think DH said the average for our room Dec 2nd went up to 320ish + tax?

Ouch! Yes, if my May trip wasn't a solo trip, I don't think I'd be going. Food costs drop significantly when I'm alone. I had also booked for a week in November before the price hike. Somehow, that worked out.

Are you looking at a standard room or a different category? All we could get was a room with the 5th sleeper
We have a preferred room at POR. They are closest to the food court. The room increase for 6 nights was $175. That’s almost half the price of one of our two QS meal plans!

We only live an hour away so we rarely stay onsite. Usually I wouldn’t ever pay $300 for POR but I really want to get these pictures taken

Mousesavers has listings for all the resort rates as they were originally listed for this year. I checked some September dates at YC & everything is up from $ 5 - 8 dollars a night. Didn’t have time to check other resorts or dates yet.
