When does Disney release prices for the next year? I am trying to plan a vacation there in 2011, but would like to have the closest prices that I can manage. We are thinking either April for my son's birthday, he would be turning 5, (but that would also be right around Easter), or early September (and just pull him out of school for a couple days -- preK)

Thanks so much!!

I really like going in September over April. We have been in both times, and find the crowds lighter as well as sometimes Free dining offers in September when everyone else goes back to school - lol. We were just there 2 weeks ago, and even though it was 2 weeks after Easter, it was still very very crowded all week long. We have also found that in September we are more used to the heat after a Philly summer so we dont get as exhausted by it. If you go towards the end of the month, you could also experience MNSSHP which is a BLAST !!!!

I was leaning more towards September as well, for the reasons that you posted. My original thought was April, and I just think that it would be an awesome birthday present for him. But, his b-day is the 19th, and Easter is the 24th next year. :confused3

We've been in March and September. Both were really great times to go. March was a little more crowded that September, but still a very light crowd!!! We are going in 2011 too. But we are going the week of Thanksgiving. DH says I cannot take DD out of school for a week next year for Disney and if we go the week of thanksgiving then she will only have to miss 2 days. DS will be in preschool as well and so we will have to take him out for that. But we are excited. You can plan and save and find creative ways to get yourself excited!!!
