Incredibles 2 is due out the last 2 days before the end of cruise. Will the DCL theater show the preimere during the whole cruise or just on release date to movie theaters on land?

The movie will not be shown until the release date. But it will be shown onboard.

Usually the theater will have a midnight showing on the release date.

When my wife and I were on the Dream the week of Feb 12th, the official Black Panther release date was Feb 16 (Friday). However DCL got permission to show it on Thursday at 7PM and 10PM (standard and 3D showings) and we saw it. It was a nice surprise for us!

We had to wait until midnight on the Fantasy that week, but there also were a ton of Star Wars movies playing that day.

They always make it sound special like they just got permission but really they didn’t. They knew they were going to show it all along on that date.
Look at your old navigator from day one I’m guessing they didn’t have any shows or movies showing up in the navigator for that time.

Which always makes me laugh considering most theaters have 7pm (and other) showings of these the night before the "official" release date. They do this week for "A Wrinkle In Time".

That said, because of the nature of the ships being at sea and shipping, they never advertise that they are going to do it ahead of time in case something happens in the shipping process and they ship does not get the film for some reason.

Exactly!
