Disney Portrait Sessions have changed....

Hi all

Just got off the phone with Disney as i wanted to book a portrait session (but shhh its a surprise) Anwhoo they have just overhauled their sessions and i nearly had a heart attack when she said how much it'd be so here goes so noone else gets it wrong.....

Option 1 - $99.95 20 minute session, all photos on disc at AK, Poly, Beach Club or GF

Option 2 - $350 (yes you read that right) 1 hour session, all photos on a disc, re touching, a photo and something else possibly a photobook (i was in too much shock ) "pretty much anywhere on Disney property"

No extra time can now be added as far as i could get the info.

I had originally requested the hour as i wanted extra time but she made sure i knew the changes first.

Wow, that is one serious overhaul of the package options! Thank you for posting this. We did the 20 minute session last year and it was adequate for us. I plan on booking it this year too, but thanks for the heads up. I will make sure I specify the 20 minute one. Although if they are promising to retouch my photos ......

There is a sticky at the top of the page for resort photo sessions. Perhaps you could copy this post into there for those who frequent that thread to keep up to date. Just in case they miss this one.

Wow, that will be very tough for us. We were planning to do the 45 minute session for $125 not sure how we are going to get 2 families pictures taken with our little kids that I am sure will not cooperate.

I booked this two months ago and received a call from Disney as we were driving to FL two days ago. They told me of the changes, explained them and told me that they would still honor our 45 minute session on 3/21 at the GF for the original price.

I got the same info last week and this morning again. I don't remember them mentionning WL but again I wasn't paying much attention to the resorts available once I heard Poly and GF

Sorry not been around guys. I am cancelling mine and have approached KMD. Kristen has been most helpful and its a much better option for our family. I dont remember WL being mentioned either x

I thought this was going to be the perfect thing to do on our next trip (have never done it before) since we will be staying at WL.


Can anyone confirm that it is or isn't at WL. Still don't like the package change... Ack... now I am going to have to rethink this. Course... I have a bit of time.

When I called earlier this month, I was told the same about the one hour package = $350, also you can add the disk for a total of $400.

Who is KMD. I'm thinking that 20 minutes is not a lot considering I have 4 yo triplets and unfortunetely can't justify $350 for an hour.
