Disney Port Orleans French Quarter

I had a question for those who have stayed at this hotel.......Do the buses make multiple stops to the riverside also or is it a direct stop at the French Quarter? I really dont want to come back to my hotel after a long day at the park with two tired kids and stop at 5 stops before my stop...........THANKS

When we were there last year, French Quarter was always the first stop back. Going to the parks the bus will make a couple of stops at riverside after picking you up at the French Quarter but our resort was always the first stop coming back from all the parks.

We stayed there in 2004 and it seemed to flip flop a lot. Sometimes when we'd get on a bus to go to a park, they had already stopped at Riverside and we'd leave the resort right after being picked up. Sometimes they went over to Riverside after picking us up. However, if I recall correctly, we were always the first to be dropped off.

We always pick FQ over RS because you are the first to be picked up in the morning (we always got an empty bus), and the first to be dropped off in the afternoons. It seemed like a win-win situation. We have stayed at the FQ 7-8 times and this was always the case for us, may be different other times.

We just got back yesterday and stayed at Riverside. There may have been one or two times that the buses picked us up before French Quarter, but not very often and we normally went to two or three parks a day. Another note, if you are riding the Magic Express. It stopped at French Quarter first after the airport, but picked up there last on the way to airport.

It was our experience in Feb 2005 that buses from Downtown Disney will stop at Riverside first.
