We are going on a 3 night/ 4 day RCCL cruise. Would you turn in the rental at CC or put it in the parking garage for 4 days? It would only be $40.00 to park and I'm thinking it would be worth it not to have to hassle with the car rental agency. We will need a rental car to get back to WDW.

Rent once and park for easy disembarkment and off to WDW.

or

Rent twice and save $40 plus lower rental price.

We have done it both ways, and prefer the car parked at the port. Plus, our rental rate is ususally less for 5 days than for 2 one day rentals, as 5 days generally gets a week rate.

we are renting the car for the whole 10 days we'll be in FL and paying to park at PC parking lot. It was cheaper to rent for 10 days and pay for parking rather than renting two separate rentals and I think it will be easier than taking a shuttle to the rental agency after the cruise etc. Have you tried pricing out different rental agencies? I found National to be cheaper than Budget for our needs. (was originally going to use Budget because of their proximity to the port)

I am thinking about using Alamo/National since I will be getting the car from the WDW Car Care Center.

Thanks for the replies.

did two cruises out of port canaveral. used budget at the airport, visited disney, dropped off car at budget in port canaveral, they gave me a shuttle to cruise, got off cruise ship, got a shuttle back to budget, rented from budget and went to airport to drop off car. I have also used avis which is down the street from budget and also has shuttle but won't use avis again. got there and they said my car was not there yet (after the cruise) even though I had the confirmation in my hand.

Ouch! I would have been very upset.

I'm travelling with my 3 kids and elderly mother. I think for convenience sake I will either get a towncar or park the rental at the port.
