We are planning our 6th disney Vacation. We have never stayed on Disney grounds. We are staying in our camper at Fort Wilderness. We are trying to decide if the dining plan is worth the extra money. We have of a family of six. DD 14, DS 11, DS 9, DD 5. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a subforum in the restaurant forum dedicated to the dining plan. You'll find lots of great info there. Here is the link... http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=116

As an aside, we absolutely felt it was worth the money for us. Our kids were 11,6, and 2 at the time, so we paid adult price for our DD11 and still got a tremendous value. HTH!

I thought I got alot of value out of it. We did alot of character meals and for the kids, the cost of the character meal alone is usually the same or more than you pay for them for entire day, including the CS meal and snack. We got to eat in a lot of places we might not have otherwise and it was nice not to have to worry about the costs of the food.

I definitely found it worth it for us also. For what I would have paid for one adult dinner with everything (appetizer, drink, desert, gratuity) paid for it plus some.

You know what your family likes to eat look at some places you would like to attend figure out a guess menue and add it up make sure you include everything like appetizer, drink, gratuity etc.

Oh, me too! I think it is so worth it! We are getting for our next trip in august.
