Disney pin codes + Bill = TROUBLE *11/01 Almost time for our Happy Place*

Tracy - Talk Abbey into getting the stroller for the kids ::yes:: We used one for Jimmy, and he is 6. Trust me...it's a life saver and really lets him last a little longer in the park. He didn't ride in it the whole time, but it was there for when he needed. It's also great for holding stuff:thumbsup2

I am really leaning toward renting one, I think it would just be a lot easier in the long run on everyone.

Great plans!

So jealous that you guys get to hook up yet AGAIN!

So proud that you are letting them choose where to go for lunch. I would have printed menus of their choices handy so they can make an informed decision.

Maybe we can all meet up for your big birthday in WDW? Who says the menus aren't already printed up :rolleyes1?

That's fantastic news about Bill's job you must both be so happy and your plans look fabulous :thumbsup2

I'm hoping we can all meet up then. It would be so fun to get at least 5-6 families together..

I kind of figured you had already printed them out....;):thumbsup2

I am so happy that Bill is able to keep his job!

The plans look great for the first 2 days. I hope you have a great time meeting up with Kathy's family again. Wishes will def. be extra special that night. The day at MK will be fun filled with pictures.

Hi Tracy! I'd just rent one if and when you need one. It REALLY depends on the kid. DS9 did fabulous at 4, not a whine. I had brought a small umbrella , and never used it. If memory serves though, my nephew, 5 months younger, did use one fairly extensively.

Or check an umbrella on the plane, if you do gate check it won't count as an extra bag!

I can't wait to hear about your DIS meet with Kathy!

As some of you reading along remember I didn’t reveal the dates for a bit when I started this PTR, the day I said when we were going I got a PM from Kathy calling me a “STINKER”
laugh-4.gif
, I had surprised her.

Okay, first I read this and I thought, "Oh, Tracy, you are so not a stinker!"

Then I read this:

There were a flurry of PM’s back and forth between Kathy and me deciding when to meet. I really can’t express how much I adore this woman; she is kind, caring, funny, just a lovely person. Bill and I are honored that she wants to share a bit of their vacation with us.

. . . and I started blubbering, "Forget it, Tracy, you're still a stinker for making me cry!

Don't worry about Wishes, I'll be packing my tissues, too!

Kathy

Tracy,

so glad about Bill's job that is GREAT!!!!:thumbsup2

as far as the blue-pre boarding on SW...we used it both times w/ our flights this past March for our DS, we have 6 in our family, I didn't ask about my parents traveling w/ us. But we made sure to get a pre-boarding slips the veryminute we could before we left home online and then my Mom took care of our return flight w/ GS at WDW and both times I think we either in A or B...so my parents still were able to be close by.

I'd just ask when you get to the airport. If Josh helps you and Bill on, I see no reason you can save the extra 3 seats in your row....

Days 2 and 3 sound great!

the stroller....I'd have one, whether from home or rental there (though you know it's scary expensive) Margaret will be turning 4 on our second day at Disney next yr and I plan to have a stroller for her from home for the trip...there is no way she'll manage all that walking for 9 days...tired...plus it will a good resting spot too for her w/ a lightweight blanket or towel over her. doubt she'll still be in reg naps by then, but I know she'll get way to tired if she was expected to ped it the whole trip. A nice umbrella stroller w/ a little shade may be all Hannah will need. I'd seriously talk it over w/ Abbey

Planning on renting a stroller is a good idea. You may not need it everyday, but if you pay the rental for each day at the beginning of the trip there is a slight discount and you can bypass the line where you pay to rent the stroller, and just show your receipt at each park.

We bring our Peg Perego, folding stroller for DS he is 5 years old now but rode in the stroller a lot during our trip in January when he was 4 1/2. I am planning on bringing it for our upcoming trip at the end of October.

The downside is that after visiting each ride or attraction someone has to go back and get the stroller. Sometimes it is a long hike back to where the stroller was parked. The CM's rearrange them too.

Bill does like going in June around his birthday and he loves the Star Wars Weekends, so I think we might just make it!

I am so happy that Bill is able to keep his job!

Hi! Thank you. I am going to be a picture taking fool.

Hello! I am thinking about taking a phone number for an off site place and if she needs one just call for it. The ones at the parks don't look very comfortable. Has anybodies kids tried the new ones? But then again I don't think we would need it going back to the resort if she has been riding around all day, LOL. We will see. I have to check into the prices, deposits etc.

Well, I got a teary eyed typing it. We adore you and your family . Josh will make fun of me if he sees me crying, I don't care :rotfl:.

Thanks for the well wishes about Bill's job. I am going to talk to Abbey again about the stroller issue :thumbsup2.

I will have to make something to attach to the stroller to flag it as ours, I don't see that being a problem :lmao:.

I posted this on facebook this morning, but thought I would share it with everyone here.

Too much bathroom floor cleaner + Tracy's shoes = Tracy go boom.

I thought I wasn't going to get up, I was thinking "oh great, Bill's parents will be here in 4 hours and find me stuck between the toliet and the door" great impression right? Oh and they might bring Bill's grandma too. "Hi Grandma, excuse me for being in a half split with my left leg bent behind me with my foot lodged outside the bathroom door". I scared poor Acey to death. He came to check on me, he has been following me constantly today, I swear he is worried about me.

Oh and even better after I pried myself from that position I found out how badly I had scared Ace, one little turd by the balcony door, LMAO. Got to laugh because I know later I will be HURTING.

Just thought I would share how STOOPID I am!! IP DIP!!!

OUCH! Take some ibuprofen or have a hot shower/bath tonight and tomorrow morning won't be as bad! Yep, I've done the too much floor cleaner/fall on my butt thing (in the kitchen), usually after warning the children not to run through there because they'll fall and get hurt!

Hi Jen, I have been taking ibuprofen today, the only thing hurting right now besides the scrapes on my left forearm from the door jam is my left knee. The hot bath sounds like a great idea later. I have put muscle rub on the knee and it is elevated :thumbsup2. Thank you so much for the tips.

Beware of the Bathroom! Statistics show it's the most dangerous room in the house!

Sorry you went boom...

I second the Advil and hot bath/shower suggestion. Also, a visit to your chiropractor might not be such a bad idea... you probably knocked everything out of alignment! /\/\/\/\

Kathy

::yes::

Oh no! Hope you are okay! Lots of Advil:hug:

Thank you!

Thanks Kathy . I was just praying I didn't break anything or rip anything :scared1:. It is so funny that Bill has been going to the same chiropractor for over 3 years and I won't let him touch me :rotfl:. I just can't even think about hearing him crack my neck etc.

I will be ok, I have to be we leave in 37 days .

You know, Tracy, your neck and back don't actually "crack"... the sound you hear is just gas escaping during the adjustment.

Just think about it as an opportunity to pass gas in a socially acceptable situation! :lmao:

Seriously, just the other day Tricia woke up with a pinched nerve in her neck and a knot in her lower back as a result of all the soccer and field hockey she's been playing. After just one adjustment she felt so much better and hasn't complained once.

You should try it at least one time and if you don't like it, you never have to do it again! ::yes::

Kathy

OUCH! I hope you are feeling ok today after your fall yesterday! I can't believe how fast your trip is coming up!

I might try it one day, but not now :rotfl:.

Just five more weeks until our dinner at 'Ohana! :flower1:

Kathy
