Thanks! It WAS cold! Brrrrrrrr! But the lighting on the church was spectacular! I was in China waiting for the Monkey King!

I'm excited to see pics of the new parade. Did you enjoy it??? I have nothing to compare it to but I do know that my kids LOVE Pixar movies and will FLIP just seeing the Incredibles and Toy Story characters!!!

The parade was pretty bad. It was really short, the music was bad, there weren't enough characters, and they reused the Block Party Bash costumes and floats. I don't know why they went from Block Party Bash to this.

Did you process this into an IR, use a lens filter, or change the internal IR filter out?

I have been curious about IR and was wondering what the lens filter turns out like.

OT: for those who followed my long drawn out search for a new camera, I have just uploaded to Photo Bucket some test shots from the FZ35.

I must note that I was in general not thrilled with this camera, but I finally (read the manual and) found how to adjust the sharpness (if you recall, my primary want in a new camera) and am now happy. What I do NOT understand is why any manufacturer would have a camera NOT take the sharpest image it can as a matter of default??? In the shot of the pine needles. note how nicely defined they are, whereas in the default setting, they are a blurred hint of themselves.
