Yep! But again, not speaking as to your need for a scan or whatever: do what you need to do! Hehehehee...

When I was a little kid, I noticed sometimes on TV that certain things looked strange- like when they took a long shot of a car coming at you at a slight angle- the back end of the car would look funny. I asked the grown ups and they simply dismissed it. I figured it out on my own- that it was a long zoom shot, and of such a distance that the back end of the car was relatively the same distance as the front end of the car from where the camera was...

[PS: actually, it might be 'counter-foreshortening'.]

Thanks for explaining this one! I too wondered what was going on and even got out maps and old pictures because I didn't remember any curves there on the monorail!! Were you standing at the railroad station to get that shot? Very neat picture!! Thanks for all your pictures, actually... :yay:

Glad you enjoy the pics! For that one, I was standing on top of the Contemporary and using a lot of zoom!

Hi fellow shutter bugs!

I don't know about others, but I have always found the cost of a D Photopass CD to be a bit outrageous. And the photo ops limited and pretty much the same thing over and over- here we are in front of the castle/big ball/TOL/Hat...

Well! At the moment, and I do not know if this will continue, when you go on the Wild Africa Trek, the price of 129, soon to be 189, includes a Photopass CD filled with shots taken by an accompanying PP photographer! So, you get a more candid and diverse set of images as well as many of the shots of animals that you wish your camera had done a better job on cause the battery for your good camera died on the first bridge and you left you extra battery in the locker at the start... but that is another story.

The point is, on a 129/189 dollar awesome adventure, you get a free 149 dollar PP CD! AND ANYTHING you put on that card or any other card that is active in your PP account at the time is also on the CD.

It even includes free shipping!

Mine will be here within 14 days.

When I entered the code, it did read as a "promotion" and that is why I question how long this will go on: in what I have read describing the trek, this seems to be a fixed part of the deal.

Soooo.... should we start calling you... "CAPTAIN ZOOM" ...:rotfl:

LOL! Well, I'll tell ya- once you get used to having that big zoom, it is crippling to be without it!

BTW, for the record, now that I did finally after two years of searching buy my new high end P&S, Olympus is soon to release exactly what I was crying for for the last five! Ayeeeeee!!!!! (except it doesn't have the big zoom...)

Beautiful clarity and color on that! (And why Mickey should not have articulated eyes!)

BTW, does anyone else find those off the shoulder <?> gowns out of place/character?

:)

Jud

Thank you.
I have some pretty creepy looking pictures of the characters from Dream Along With Mickey with their eyes half open. :rotfl:
