Disney Picture of the day - Part 7

Hello everyone,

This is my first attempt at posting to this thread, but I was so inspired by all the great photos everyone has displayed that I just had to add one of my own! My wife has been a longtime member of the board, but I just got interested in joining specifically due to the photography connection.

This is from our last trip in Sept, 2007, showing one of the classic SP's at MGM (our favorite park by far-AR&R, TofT)- Rosie the Cleaning Lady!

Hope you enjoy it...

(Taken with a Nikon D70s, 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED-IF AF-S DX VR lens, 1/80 sec. at f/9.0, SOTC)

Have many more of SP's at MGM if you want to see them...

Great job Berni'sDH, welcome to the wonderful world of posting photos. :thumbsup2
Here's a little tip that might also come in handy. To help get your pictures a bit smaller, try downloading a program called Irfanview. It is extremely easy to change the size of any picture, without changing the quality. Here's a link to it, if you're interested:

We look forward to seeing many more pictures from you.

Thanks! Reduced the size of the photo, but I don't think it has as much "impact" ;)

Obligatory cross-over picture from the OTHER POTD thread (mods are you listening....)

Hmmm... A continuation of the old DPotD thread from the Theme Park and Attractions Strategies forum... broken in pieces and relocated to the Photography Board. Very interesting. But hey, another DPotD thread to share and view pictures... GREAT:thumbsup2

Joe- our FAVORITE ride in all the parks! Wonderful shot!

Just wondering- did you use a polarizer or have to do any PP to get such a beautiful color sky?

ARnR was CLOSED   for renovation during our last trip in Sept., 2007... we were SOOOOOO SAD:

Mine for the day..I rented a D300 for the week to help alleviate some actuations on the ole D70. That is by far the best camera I have EVER used.

Wow...the 300, huh? Nice camera to "aim" at buying someday...

Here is a not-so-great shot of a Hawk at Rafiki's...
