Mrs. YEKCIM, who is an avowed coaster chicken, rode BTMRR this year, for the first time, and LOVED it! She also tried Test Track ("Fast Track" is what she calls it) and loved that one, too. We'd planned to ride EE, but YEKCIMette (9 YO daughter) chickened out, so we skipped it. Maybe next time.

so there's hope for me yet! glad to hear i'm not the only coaster chicken. i can "maybe" try BTMRR, but NEVER EE!!!!!!!!!

It can be cool/cold in November, but usually it's just chilly in the mornings and by mid-day it's warm. It's actually great Disney weather!

Thank you for your kind words. I'm very happy with my Nikon gear. Now, just imagine what it could do in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing!

If you need some assistance in your DC search, try posting a msg on the DIS Photography Forum, including your anticipated budget and what kinds of photo situations you anticipate. You'll get some very helpful feedback.

And, yes, it can be cold in late November. Our first trip with our then 5.5 YO daughter was during that time. We drove down on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and went immediately to MK for the evening. It was probably in the low to mid 40's by the time we left. We'd checked the forecast before leaving home, so were prepared with heavy jackets, gloves, caps, etc. I have to say, though, that with all the Christmas decorations and music on the park PA systems, the cool weather felt most appropriate. Let me add, too, that during the days, we were in shorts and tee shirts.

The next year, we were there a couple weeks later, and it was warm enough day and night to wear shorts and tee shirts. Bottom line is that you can encounter a variety of weather and temperatures that time of the year, so be prepared for anything and check the forecast before leaving home.

I'm enjoying all these Stars & Motor Cars pics! I love that parade - which is why I was saddened to hear it's being replaced by Block Party Bash (the same Pixar parade from DCA) in March '08

Gosh, that's a pretty shot, Joe. Tomorrowland is my favorite nighttime "photo spot", but rarely have the time to set up a nice shot like this. Did you use a tripod? Sure don't see how you could have gotten it any other way.
