Thanks for posting the MGM Parade pix. We've never been able to see this parade, as the urge to return to the room for a swim has always been too compelling!

You have to check it out one trip! We are not "parade people" and would usually rather take a break than fight the crowds, but we LOVE the MGM parade. Of course, DH & DS are car fanatics, but we all love that parade!

Poor DH has on our DD's liea(sp?) and 5 drinks, two boxes of popcorn, and wearing a smile with his Mickey shirt and if you look close mickey ears. He took mickey ears and pinned them to his Orlando Harley Davidson hat he got at the PI Harley Shop.

It was the absolute best when these statues were in downtown Chicago. We had a blast visiting each one. I would love if they came back. Anyone know where they are now?

Here's mine for today...not a WDW park but none the less Disney. This was taken at the Brookfield zoo when Hannah Montana's brother and BFF were there for the day. Very exciting stuff!

My POTD: Stars and Motor Cars Parade

We had awesome seats right by the bronze busts, to the left of the ABC place (not sure what it's called).

You have to check it out one trip! We are not "parade people" and would usually rather take a break than fight the crowds, but we LOVE the MGM parade. Of course, DH & DS are car fanatics, but we all love that parade!

I would love to. However, it it takes major "brownie points" just to get Mrs. YEKCIM/Commando Mom to agree to go in the first place, so I pretty much have to toe her line in terms of how we spend our WDW time.

And, to be honest, after several hours in the Central Florida July Outdoor Sauna, I was ready for the pool myself, so not terribly disappointed to be told that we were going back to the room.

I'm scheming toward 12/08 for our next visit, so it won't be as hot, and maybe we can skip the retreat to the resort routine then.
