LOL- I told DW if my D80 gets a drop of water on it I will just have to order the D300- Thats all. J/K- actually I was using my trusty waterproof Pentax W30.

What do you think of the D80?

My wife is "retiring" her N80 for a D40x (with new lenses, because the old ones only work in full manual...the d40's I guess have no motor in the body...just the lenses), but she's waffling. I told her to get the D80, so she could use her old glass...but she's reluctant to spend the extra money.

I know this is slightly OT to the thread, so if you want to take it to PM's that'd be great, but I'm wondering if you think the D80 is worth the extra $$ over the d40. Keep in mind, she's not looking for poster sized pictures of thimbles, here.

Are you still shooting with the DSC H2? I have been looking for which camera to purchase and am debating between the Canon S5 or the Sony h7 or h9? Then I see you use the H2 and the pics are great. I am really so very confused!!!!!!
