I think I might try to take a trip down in January or February - the Unoffical Guide crowd calendar shows a lot of 3's, 4's and 5's... plus I've never been down that time of the year.

I'm not sure what "3's, 4's, and 5's" mean, but it is a great time to go, as long as you don't go President's Week - it's very crowded then. The weather is a little chilly, you'll have to bring some jackets but they'll be off by noon. Also Pirate & Princess Parties are supposed to be going on around that time this year, if you wanted to go to that. For Martin Luther King Jr Day some, but not all, schools are out so it's a good time to go without pulling kids out of school for as many days. And there are no crowds

OMG Code that is one beautiful picture. i just love it. very nice!

Our personal B/W favorites are "Barn Dance" and "Haunted House". The first one, in particular, has a catchy tune. It's amazing to see how clever the cartoonists back in that era were. What passed for "cartoons" today is so unimaginative and un-clever (is that a word?). It does not even compare, IMO.

I'm gonna cheat, and post my "other" Steamboat Mickey pic, complete with Pete and one other comical character:
