Why are those poor kids having to paint the fence?

(You don't want to know WHAT THEY DID!)

We have never looked for the paint brushes.....did it take a while to find them? The past couple of visits we have talked about doing it and have not. I would like to give it a try in July.

I just loved these pirate dishes when I saw them at the Magic Kingdom the other day. Too bad they didn't have these when my DS was little, he'd have loved a plate shaped like a pirate ship and a bowl shaped like the wheel! I almost bought them anyway, but talked myself out of it!

I'm 26, and if I run across these in October, they will likely be coming home with me....that's almost too embarrassing to write

That's funny! You are the first one to notice THE PAINTBRUSHES....

To answer your question...we made sure we were AT THE DOCK, before the rope even "dropped" for TSI (it doesn't open until 10)...by the time the CM came and dropped the rope to open up the rafts, ANOTHER disboard-er had come up, and we were both anxiously awaiting our try at finding the paintbrushes!

We had FOUR kids in our group, and she had 2--PERFECT! (They hide six paintbrushes.)

It does take a little work to find them, but most of the time, they leave them out in the open. We had never done it before, so I had it on my "checklist" to do this time. We may try it again in September, not sure yet.

You really should do it at least once because the kids truly enjoy it! I've heard stories of paintbrushes not being found until 1 or 2 p.m. It just depends on who knows about it and is at the rope drop at 10 or who DOESN'T know about it and ISN'T at the rope drop at 10!

Do they still have these on the castle? I have seen tons of pictures of the castle on here and they all look different. I'm hoping they still have the Lion King and other Disney movie stuff on the castle when i go in September.

Nope; they took them all off this year for the YOMD theme....sorry! You'll have to settle for enjoying them through pictures!
