Also, concerning the tow truck comment, I got ya beat! My wife and I were participating in a Civil War reenactment in western TN (Shiloh) a number of years ago, and did "primitive" camping. It rained incessantly most of the weekend, and in order to extract our mired Honda (yes, another one!) Accord, we had to hire a local entrepreneur, otherwise known as a farmer, with a huge tractor, to pull us out. In fact, it took two separate tows to completely vacate the reenactment area, but we only paid for one, as I recall. Everytime I see "Cars", and see the nighttime "tractor tipping" episode, I think about being hauled out of the mud at Shiloh by one of those big fellas. The Cars tractors look just like the one that gave us a "lift"!

You know, ever since that parade started in MGM, I still havent seen it, because everytime I try to see it, it starts pouring! This time in December though, I WILL see it!

Wow Quiltymom- That is a stunning photograph. If that was the view from my room they would have to drag me from it kicking and screamng.

That is great! We're staying at WL next trip, and I hope I get a view like that! You've inspired me to post another view-from-our-room photo from our last trip (I posted a couple a while back) - now you get a close up view of my avatar!! Like you Quiltymom, I held it together for my son's sake!! I need a better camera (and skills!) to do this kind of view justice!! I just loved it - can you tell?!?

Quiltymom - Here's one from our room on the 2nd floor, not quite the view you had.

Wow - that's cool, too! It's such a great place. I only wish that I had taken more photos around the grounds. I got the basic ones, and that's just about it.

And all of the fairy pics have been so fun to see. DD would just go nuts if she saw those in person. Making fun stuff like that would be a good outdoor summer project.

Here's my photo of the day. Main Street, 8:17 am. That's DH & DS in the yellow rain gear. Aren't they cute? (Yeah, you say, I can see them very clearly!) This was Spring Break, too. No one was there until about 11:00, when we had to leave. It's amazing how a little rain will keep the crowds away!
