I think it is when they are out of service even for a short time. They get their route from a dispatcher over a phone.

I saw a couple buses that said Snow White while I was at Disney last week. I was wondering what it meant as well.

Two more pics!

The buses show Mickey Mouse when they are waiting to be dispatched to their next location. Snow White is a new one....don't know about that one.

We were on an empty bus one time with an old timer who was training a new bus driver. He had been driving buses and working at Disney FOR-EVER, and he talked and talked and talked to us our entire ride. He is the one that told us what MM meant....

I've seen this parade soooooooooo many times...but only found this cute little hiding place on my last visit! It's on the Pinocchio float hidden in a little niche.

not exactly. the MICKEY MOUSE refers to a bus that has no destination or route. this is especially important because with the Magic in Motion (MiM) buses, they have names but you won't typically see them. The Marquees now change automatically (or they're supposed to anyway), but even in the past, a bus driver would go directly from EPCOT to MAGIC KINGDOM for example - it wouldn't say MICKEY MOUSE at all. only when the bus is not in service or it's transporting a guest but not picking up additional guests where it stops will it have the name.

now the other part.. what MICKEY MOUSE means - it's a tag indicating the version software of the marquee system. MICKEY MOUSE is the original version, followed by DONALD DUCK and MINNIE MOUSE. The MiM buses are running the SNOW WHITE version, but there is also a SIMBA version out there (or was anyway)

ETA: in fact, i even forgot.. i had my own sighting the other day

I know F&G ends tomorrow but I'd love to snap a pic of that display at night as well. Anyone know if in the past they left the displays up past the end date?

it ends sunday actually, 6/3. this is the final weekend.

This series of pictures was taken at Animal Kingdom on Wednesday. It was really cool seeing this Rhino and her baby so close!

Here is Mommy Rhino coming to get in front of our truck.

The Mommy Rhino went one way and the baby kept trotting along in front of our truck. We were worried about Momma noticing and charging us.

But, Baby Rhino saw Mommy and ran over to join her.

I really like this one... thanks for removing the watermark, they're much easier to look at this way!

The sky was really bad for many days due to the fires...miss those white clouds & blue sky.

Having restraint and posting one pic is really tough sometimes...:upsidedow :upsidedow
