Shelly - here's one for you. DS coming down the slide at the Poly's volcano pool. *sigh* Wish I were there now.

You’ve probably been asked this a billion times, but would you all mind sharing what kind of camera you are using? Your pics are all so beautiful! Thanks!

 Thank you! Yes I used a tripod on this one. People were looking at me kind of funny setting a tripod up in the exit path of BTMR... but it was worth it, I snapped 4 shots and they all turned out.

Thanks Joe! I just got a tripod (Slik-it folds to 14", expands to 43", holds 4.5 lbs. and weighs 1.7 lbs.) And I also got a SLR Gorilla pod. I found the "regular" one wasn't really strong enough. I'll carry the gorilla pod all the time and Slik some of the time.

My two-year old Nephew, playing with a fake sparkler from a volcano dessert at AK's Rainforest Cafe. :hippie:

This my first post in the POTD I thought I would show you my favorite girl with her favorite girl. When Sleeping Beauty kissed her she was star struck I dont think she spoke for 5 minutes

I am scraping for pictures too (I'm sure you can tell)! I have to get back there soon but I don't think it will be until November.

And...
I have a Sony Cybershot 7.2 Megapixels. I just have a feeling that I don't use my camera to the best of it's abilities. I have this feeling I have things set wrong. For one, my pictures NEVER turn out if there is any movement. Maybe it's the camera, maybe it's just me. OBVIOUSLY, I am just an amateur but I have been happy with my camera. The best pix are when it is set on 7M but they take forever to upload. I have been setting that part on 5M these days. If anyone wants to PM me ANY advice I'll take it!

I LOVE the mermaid pic from Peter Pan's flight. That is my DDs absolute favorite part of the ride so now I MUST make it a screen saver! Thanks!

July 4, 2006 - Waiting for the fireworks.

This is on the walkway between the center hub and Adventureland, looking toward Adventureland.

Thanks momshark for including me with these great photographers! That's such a compliment to me. I use the Canon S2-IS and I really love it. Canon cameras also have a color accent mode that is really fun to use. I probably will upgrade to the S3 for my next trip because it has ISO 800 for better low light and night shots. Good luck finding your camera! :goodvibes

Thank you for the compliment. I use a Kodak Z760, it's just a point and shoot I paid about $175 for last December (2005). I also bring a tripod for the low light (fireworks, etc) but most are just snapped with a good eye. Take time to view the whole picture and see where you can get that creative shot from. It take bending, twisting, and viewing from different vantage points. It also helps to have visited many times, I know the park and can spend time shooting photos. I just started about a month ago taking photos and I'm addicted!!

Great pictures everyone! Here's one of my funny favorites from our 2004 trip. Here's Gabby eating her very first Mickey bar. :mickeybar
