Disney Picture of the day Part 4

Wow, I can't believe some of these pictures!! They are amazing!!

You know, it has just occurred to me that I have been subscribed to this thread for some time now, and I have yet to post my own POTD!

So, here is one that I took last summer. As tradition, we go to Casey's corner for our first lunch of our vacation every trip, and we love to hear the pianist, especially this one.

This CM must work 24/7 don't ya think? I consider him an MK staple now and would worry for him if he wasn't there!

My POTD - AKL a few hours ago...

"A few hours ago" yeah..yeah, whatever! We are freezing ya know!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you have to keep rubbing it in!

So, here is one that I took last summer. As tradition, we go to Casey's corner for our first lunch of our vacation every trip, and we love to hear the pianist, especially this one.

I believe this guy's name is Jim and yes, he is awesome! One of my "must do's" is to get a hot dog from Casey's, sit outside when Jim is playing and look at the Castle while people watching.

Jim is very nice and pleasant to talk with. He seems to never mind you taking his picture. He really is a great CM!

"Tranquility Base here, the Eagle has landed." Not the best of pictures on a Gloomy Cold Day. Where is Gdad,°O°Joe and others on here with the great cameras and skills when you need them.

Can someone describe Gdad's great picture? Would it have been taken from his balcony of his room? What is it overlooking? I've heard it's a great place to stay but having a hard time figuring out what I'm seeing over to the right..

Ditto wanting him to accompany us on our trip - he's fantastic! And so kind to be posting while actually there! Thanks Gdad!

Can anybody tell me where they saw Aladin and Jasmin on horseback? Is there a new parade at Epcot? I was glad they did away with the " tapestry of dreams" but I do miss having an Epcot parade.

It is taken from the Kudu Trail side of the building. The area you see is the Firepit gathering area where they do Storytelling in the evenings between the Lobby and "Arusha Rock" Savannah Overlook area. The "rounded" Room you see at the top with "thatched" roof is the Royal Kuba Vice Presidential Suite. below it with the "thatched" overhang is a guest gathering/viewing area. It's sister location on the Kudu Trail Wing is where apparently the photo was taken. Above it is the larger Royal Assante Presidential Suite.

Yeah... but I'd rather be cold in WDW then cold here right now! LOL Plus,they probably had coats on because it was a whole 60 degrees out !LOL again!

Ooh, Gdad you've made me even more excited for AKL! We're heading over there tomorrow!

Here's my PoTD:

Its my DS, who was 4 at the time (13 this month!!), right after he launched into Tigger. He had to be physically restrained from hugging him before his turn.

His twin, my DD, was not so sure about the large characters then...

(and yes, this is a scanned image from '98. I just my new scanner. Amazing!)
