...not from the parks... but I hope you'll excuse me just this once. I just got a new camera today (Nikon D40) and I just had to share a picture of my favorite ornament from the Holiday Tree:

Welcome to the Collective, Joe; the assimilation process has begun.

Congratulations on your new camera. Time for another trip to The World to "field test" it, right?

Oooh, I'm not sure if I'm ready for that Ed, it sounds scary... :lmao:

Oh definitely, I've already got a 2-1/2 day solo - photo taking extravaganza - trip scheduled for January 25-27. Can't wait - it's part of the reason I bought the camera... I wanted to get a little practice in before going. I was a little intimidated by the whole DSLR thing, but really I'm finding it's not that much more complicated than my Sony DSC-H2... other than the fact that there is the option for interchangeable lenses (I'm already eyeing the 18-135mm Nikkor). I was pleasantly suprised that it can be just as fully automatic as my the Sony H2! And the fact that this camera takes low noise shots at ISO 1600 just blows my mind... by far my favorite thing about this camera so far.

Finally caught up with all the new posts. This thread is fast growing.
ALL the people you see here are in the Que for Pirates of the Caribbean in Tokyo. This is the line before you enter the building, at which point there is still about another half an hour of line.

This was simply a Wednesday. While the Tokyo parks are fantastic...the crowds are enormous. The wait time for Winnie the Pooh was 2hours10minutes.

Do you know if they will?
And what time do they turn the lights on?
We have ADR at 4pm at Liberty Tree..... hoping to see them light up the castle right after. pixiedust:
