I received this from a friend....
Just thought you all might want to see these pictures of "The Flying Dutchman" from "Pirates of the Caribbean"! Our travels took us to Castaway Cay twice last week, and we were able to see it both being put in place and also in its final destination.

Attached are 2 pictures of it "in progress" on June 25 while they made it show ready and pulled it around Castaway Cay with the tugboats.

The second 2 pictures are the pirate ship in its "permanent" placement on June 30 in the bay next to the boating lagoon.

Wow, how amazing to see it. We saw the film last night, so I was so excited when I saw your pictures. Thanks for sharing

Whereabouts IS that statue?? I've been on ToT a ga-ZILLION times, but I don't ever remember seeing it....

It is in the ToT garden as you travel up the path on the left just before the arbor.

You see that statue while waiting in line; if I remember right, just before the line goes kind of around the back of the building "balcony" sort of area.

No I just put 2 pictures together in hopes they would actually put the pool on top of a new DVC tower if they build it.

Actually there is a terrace on the roof of the contemporary resort.

I haven't been to WDW since they knocked this down! I'm going to be sad in August, not to see this. Good thing I got a good pic last time.

OMG, the Golden Girls House!! How I miss it so much!!! Me and my sis are Golden Girl freaks and our freinds and family make fun of us so bad...we dont miss a re-run and watch all the dvd's when the re-runs arent on! Okay, yes we do have lives,but our downtime consists of the Golden Girls! Thanks for posting that pic, what a great memory!
