Disney PhotoPass

We are looking to determine if PhotoPass makes sense for our trip in September 2024. We will be going to Not So Scary Mickey's but that is the only park visit. We will do "short" lines for pics but not spending time away from rides for longer lines.

Are their short line in MK entry, etc. that aren't character oriented and/or anywhere outside of the parks?

I would have to say not worth it in your case but opinions like that are relative to how much you value what could be a perfect shot and the memories that might bring … that said I believe you can still get the photos taken by the photo pass photographers and see how they look then either buy a la cart shots (pricey) or perhaps buy the photo pass at that point (also pricey) if you feel the value is there … Disney photographers used to take pictures with your personal camera but I’m not sure if they still will do that or if they would have time to do it on a busy party night

It's been several years since I attended MNSSHP, but my experience was that there were two types of character lines:

a) Characters who also are available during regular park hours (such as Cinderella): extremely short lines.

b) Characters who are not available during regular park hours (such Stitch dressed up as Elvis): extremely long lines.

Page 1 of the MNSSHP official thread has the list of characters who are available during the party. You can look at it to see which ones your family would want to see.
