Disney Photomovie now only $49.95!

I'm not sure where to post this but I got an email yesterday about the Disney Photo Movie where you can add your pictures and from Photopass and they will add them with music etc and send you the DVD movie.

Usually it is $99.95 + shipping but is now only $49.95 +shipping!

I just got done ordering one from our recent trip and can't wait for it to be in the mail. Oh, if you order one at full price the additional ones are only $19.95
each!

I'm not sure, it says limited time only, check on the website, sorry but I didn't pay any attention to how long it will last though if I got the email yesterday I'm sure it should last at last a while

I have the Photomovie, but didn't use the Photopass pictures. I uploaded our digital photos from our trip. It turned out great! One of our neighbors wanted to watch it because they are going to Disney soon and didn't know that Photomovie even existed! I think after watching it, she is hooked too! I thought $50.00 was a little pricey, but I had to have it!!! I did a scrapbook of our trip also, but thought this was another fun way to look at our photos with family members! So cool!!!

the photopass movie is different from the photopass cd. The photopass movie has always been 50.00 and the photopass cd has always been 100.00

WOW! I had no idea they even did this! There really should be better advertising. It's a shame they don't tell you about this when you're getting the PhotoPass CD. Or wait, did they, and I was just too busy making sure my kids didn't ruin everything in the store?

I'm really hoping to do this next month. But, I'm a bit on the technologically challenged side. I use Koday EasyShare Gallery. Have any of you used this and done the photopass movie? I would love to add our PhotoPass shots as well as my digital ones, but don't want to mess it up.

I had one made from our October 05 trip. I love ours. We are considering having one made after our trip next month.

I'm so confused now, I thought this movie was usually $99.95 ( I know if you buy the CD of the Photopass pictures it's $99.95 for up to 300 pictures and with that you buy the rights to the pictures)

Now for pete's sake, why would I get an email with it saying for a limited time only if it has been that price since forever? DOH!

I was going to buy it for the $99.95 (I swear I read it somewhere on these boards) and was exstatic it was lowered to half price...hmm..maybe the pixiedust made it appear in my "mail-box"

Sorry to disappoint or not disappoint, surprise or old surprise...

Still a good deal to me as the Photopass pictures didn't turn out as well as we had hoped (DD had her eyes closed on most, bright sunlight) so I could add my own and make it all work!!!

Thanks for the link. Digging around the site revealed that standard pricing is $69.99, with the $49.99 as a limited time offer. Kind of open-ended, but hopefully it'll last!

goofy4tink: something tells me you won't have a problem. You probably just upload each pic when they tell you to do so. I'd bet Disney made it very simple. At least I hope so!

We'll return on December 13. I'd really like to get it done within a few days and have it shipped in time to show the kids Christmas morning. The movie takes less than 5 business days to produce, and standard UPS shipping according to the site is $6.49 and should arrive within 5 days. Overnight shipping is $12.99. Man, 10 days is gonna cut it close.

I hope I get good pics (mine and Photopass) to make it worthwhile.
