hi please can anyone help us, we have just found out information about annual passes and as we are going for three weeks we thought that they worked out better value than ten day passes that you can buy, we cant find any info on how you can purchase them from england, so does anyone know how we would go about buying them can we get them here or do we have to wait until we arrive in orlando, any help would be greatly appreciated its driving us mad trying different web sites to find any info thanks in advance susie

Good choice. Not only will you get complete flexibility to visit the parks whenever you want, but you'll also get discounts on a range of things when you're there.

It is possible to buy annual passes online or by phone before you get to WDW, but it's not necessary if you don't want to. If you do buy online you will be sent a voucher for the annual pass which must be exchanged at any of the ticket booths at the WDW parks. Alternatively you can wait until you arrive at WDW and just buy an annual pass on your firstday visiting WDW. It's a straightforward process as you just buy the AP in the same way as any other type of ticket, from any of the ticket booths at the parks or at Downtown Disney. We've always waited until we get to WDW to buy our annual passes as I prefer to keep the money in my bank account until the last possible moment! This thread discusses the merits of annual passes and how to buy them.

Have you looked at Universal's annual pass? I think this is even better value for money than Disney's annual passes. More info on this can be found on the Universal website here.

Rob

Hi Susie,

When is your trip planned for ? If it's after September then you may want to consider buying APs in advance as historically this is when price increases have occurred. If you are planning to go to Seaworld and/or Busch Gardens on more than one occasion then they also have tickets that might save you some money - either the Fun Card which is valid through to the end of the year, or the Silver Passport that lasts for 12 months. Take a look at http://commerce.4adventure.com/store/dept_tickets.asp for details.

hi thanks for your great replys, rob we are going to do same as you and wait till we get there, we are not going till dec 04, but trying to be a bit more organized than usual, we didnt know that there was discounts as well had only seen that you get free parking at parks, will have to look further at your thread rob, will also look at universal passes as the kids want to go there this time as they like there big rides, thanks again for replying susie

In the past, we have bought APs online. As Rob says, you receive certificates which you exchange for passes when you arrive. Either way, the process is the same, so this time we are going to wait until we arrive. As Paul says, the potential benefit of buying ahead is that you may beat a price hike.

Whether buying APs or exchanging certificates, you will need to have photo ID with you and each member of your party will need to be present.
