Hi

This is my 1st time on this site. We are going to Florida in 5 weeks time and I was wondering if the Magic Kingdom is any good for a 6 month old baby
Thanks

Well what do you mean? There are Mommy baby areas located thru out the park, shaded areas when needed, will you have any other kids with you? I took my son with us when he was 5mths old along with my daughter who was 4yo. I found the whole experience wonderful and if you are not going to have any other children, it gives you more opportunities to check out more grown up things! I found traveling with a baby easier than with toddlers or kids, when they nap it was great! I hope that helped? :goodvibes

I agree. We traveled last time with my 8 month old daughter and it was great!!!

They are much easier to keep in a stroller and nap often. We went in February so it was a little cooler.

Just saw that there is a 'PassPorters' book for pregnant people or Moms traveling with infants :sunny: Maybe something to look into :teeth:

In 1999 my ds was then 6 months old. It was great. He loved the characters coming up to him. He liked to touch their hands/gloves & some of the characters we so sweet with him...once at CM's Goofy put his napkin on my ds when he was starting to fall asleep. He also liked being kissed by the princesses..I think he also liked all the colors & music. We took him on IASM, Peter Pan, & the carosel (in the seat, not a horse).

They have clean baby stations to change & feed them. And since they are in the carriage they can nap whenever they need too..we never had to go back to the room for napping.

I have alot of pictures of him smiling that trip was quite something for him as he suffered severe GI distress and colic as a baby.

It was MUCH easier at WDW with my son when he was a baby then after he started walking!! The baby will LOVE the lights and activity. Be prepared for riding It's a Small World many many times, DS was VERY intrigued by it! :rotfl:

Providing you cover baby from from the sun you will be fine.

We took my DD when she was 5 months and she had a great time with all of the lights and characters. We also had my DS8 and DS5 and we did whatever they wanted to do, DH rode with them and I waited with my DD. It was pretty easy with her. We also did MVMCP and Chef Mickey's both of which she loved.

Have a great trip and enjoy it through your child's eyes!
