Disney Parade Tickets

HI ya all i wanted to ask someone about the disney parade at xmas how do you get tickets for that,and i did hear that they sometimes give out free tickets for this event.Would like to hear from anyone in the know?.

If you are talking about the Christmas Parade that is televised on Christmas Day, that parade is taped in early December and broadcast on Christmas. If you are going to be in the park (MK) around Christmas, they have a parade twice a day that is holiday themed.

Also, starting before Thanksgiving and through about the 2nd or 3rd week in December there is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP). This is a ticketed event in the MK on certain nights of the week. The park closes to regular day visitors and in the evening there is a Christmas party. Tickets run about $30.00 and the park is open from 7:00 till 12:00 (but you can usually get in at 4:00) for only ticket holders. There are special Christmas Shows, a Christmas parade and a special Christmas version of Wishes. We have gone twice over the past few years and we love it. They also give out free hot chocolate and cookies.

The week before Christmas and the week between Christmas and New Years there are no more MVMCP but the afternoon parade is the Christmas parade.

The filming of the actual Christmas Parade that is shown on TV Christmas morning is filmed the first weekend in December in the MK. I you do not need a special ticket to view this but I believe last year they gave out something to Disney Vacation Club Members to have perfrerred standing for the filming.
