Just wondering where the best outlet store for Disney items is around WDW. Any that are worth searching out?

I'm not much help... But my dad took us to one this past May and at this outlet mall the disney store was less than impressive. I'm not entirely sure it was disney affiliated, but if it was they should be ashamed

There are two that I know of. The Character Premier outlet at 8200 Vineland ave Orlando, and the Character Warehouse at 4951 international drive in orlando. They are fairly close to one another. I have never been to either one, but the tour books I have read said they're pretty good if you're pinching pennies.

The touring plans blog occasionally has someone post pictures of what's being sold in the outlet stores. Usually it's a pretty odd assortment, but I've seen some pictures of nice things that I would buy.

I hope this helps!

Visited both stores last week. Definitely a hit or miss depending on what they have in stock....Vineland didn't have much. I was able to snag a couple items at International Dr. Location for $10-15 off full price in the parks as I had already been tempted to purchase . Good luck!

The Vineland Ave location is part of the Orlando Premium Outlets. I've been to that one many times over the years. There are discounts to be had on retired items, but the selection, in my opinion, has gone way down the past couple of years. Don't expect to get discounts on current items; they may have some to keep the store stocked, but they'll be at the same price as in the parks. Also, any discounts you may have in the parks or DTD (AP, Dis Visa, etc) probably do not apply at the outlets. Also, some of the recently discounted items may be the same price in the outlet and clearance prices at DTD/parks. The outlet is still definitely worth a look, but don't be too hopeful.

Theme Park Connections is in Orlando and has lots of Disney stuff, large and small, and much that is no longer available. It is big and very full of all kinds of stuff. Everything from buttons to Pirates of the Caribbean movie props. Little name tags to full size popcorn cart used in Magic Kingdom. There is an online store and a location in Orlando.

I have been there and it is a fun visit and you can get some Disney World stuff at any price point.

I have a show times sign for my home theater that was used in Disney World for the Hoop De Do Review.

It is located at 2160 Premier Row, Orlando, FL 32809, and I think it was about 20 to 30 minutes away for Disney World to the north.
