Disney Opens Canadian Web Site

Florida’s Walt Disney World has just launched a web site created specifically for Canadian visitors: www.disneyworld.ca The site is available in both English and French, and has pointed information on vacation planning.

Bruno Jauernig, director of marketing with Disney, says Canadians are among the top markets for the theme park.

Thanks for the info. Just ordered the WDW video.
Hopefully they will make the Pass hopper deal that runs now from Jan- Apr good for the other months of the year also.

Or give us some breaks on things such as room rates, AP's, meals,etc. The prices Americans pay for everything at WDW seem very reasonable to us.

It's the exchange rate that's the killer!!

It's good to get the acknowlegdement that we Canadians are great Disney fans also!

I'm with you Dumbo5...if we are a target group, then why shouldn't we get the same discounts, codes, postcards etc. that our U.S friends do..especially with our dollar at an all time low today..yuck!

you'd think it would be a little more current.
On it's FAQs page it lists HORIZONS as being "closed until further notice"
Not bad for an attraction that was demolished last year.

Did anyone REGISTER at the Canadian Disney site?

I did but I haven't received a confirmation email (it's been a few days).

Also, I got a password but I don't see what it's for. Do you think in the future they'll have a log-in screen, maybe for deals?
