I did not see anything posted on the front page so sorry if this is duplicate information.

My wife called MS with several questions about a trip we are taking in October. We are also going in Sept, and she complained that we were unable to have our DVC reservation recognized by the new dining system.

She was told they had a meeting about that this morning, and in most cases DCV ressies should be recognized by the system. I just tried our Sept ressie and it does recognize it.

This should eliminate the hour delay that DVC members were being penalized with (plus waiting time on the phone). Hope this helps some people to get the ressies they want.

Does not work for me either, has it worked for anyone with reservations in 2010, next trip is in Jan....

I doubt any reservation, DVC or Cash, is recognized by the online dining software until 90 days prior to the check-in date.

It doesn't recognize mine either. I called MS and was told that the only time the system did not recognize a number was if you had a waitlist come through and were given a new number. I had no waitlist and my original confirmation number but the system still did not take my number.

I just tried my Sept ressie # again and it went through this time. Alittle to late though since I had to wait two hours on the phone last Sat. So maybe it will work for most now.

It is so great...I just checked all 11 of our ressies and they were all perfect. Wow that is such a comfort for a crazy planner who has a slight case of OCD and usually calls twice before her trip to make sure the ressies are right. :cheer2:21 more days to enjoy our ressies!!!

I checked my 6 DVC ressies and it works on 5 of them. I'll have to call and find out why my December ressie does not work. I guess I'll get to use the system now on July 20.

It now works for at least one of my reservations that did not work before. That reservation is over Thanksgiving.

I made my ressies over the phone right at the 90 day mark. When I put in my DVC reservation number on the Disney Dineing site, it brings up the resort im staying at and the dates of my reservation. However, it doesn't show any of the reservations that I made. Is this a cause for concern:confused3

Actually, it does (or it should), for Cash ressies at least.

They don't open up the 90+10 window for you (obviously) until your 90 day mark, but even beyond the 90 day mark it recognizes it's a valid ressie, where you're staying, and when.

Edit: Just tried it. Now appears to be working.

It sees mine and I'm over 200 days out. I can't see it from My Disney Vacation site, but when I go into booking online ADR's, it can find my ressie. :cheer2:

I'm swapping into OKW in December through RCI points, and I called DVC member services to see if they could give me a 12-digit WDW reservation number, which they did. The number doesn't work anywhere else on the WDW site, oddly, but it does work on the dining reservations page. If you select "book a reservation" on any restaurant page, the next screen will ask you if you have a resort reservation for the dates you want to make a dining reservation, and there's a link to click on to retrieve your reservation. You can enter your reservation number and phone number there. It will then confirm that you have a reservation at whatever resort for whatever dates, and it will ask if you want to link your ADR to that reservation. As lumpydj noted, you can go through this process even if you're way outside the 90 day window, just to be sure your reservation number will be recognized at the 90 day mark. I'm two months from my 90-day mark, and I did this to be sure everything would work when I actually could make reservations. If you look at the calendar that they give you to choose ADR dates, it will only give you dates up to 90 days away. And, as pilferk noted, if you enter your resort reservations number at the 90 day mark, the calendar will then open up the next ten days for you, so that you can do the 90+10 thing.
