holy schmokes...I can't get it out of my mind. It's been 7 months since our first trip to Disney...and somehow, within the last month, it's crept back in on me...Disneyitis. Our trip was absolutely perfect...nobody wanted to come home, and we were planning trip #2 on the plane home. Dh was apprehensive about trip #2, saying nothing could compare to trip #1, everything was perfect, new, etc. Having been reassured by everyone who has ever been to Disney that every trip will be just as perfect, new, magical, etc...has just reinforced my wanting to go back NOW!! Bah...I can't concentrate on anything other than planning trip #2. (Not that that's a bad thing!)

I have Disneyitis, too. I have no plan to visit in the near future.

The urges will only get more frequent and come sooner after your last trip. Then you will find yourself considering DVC :thumbsup2 It's not a bad thing :cool1:

I sooooo got it bad .

I have 3 trips already booked ( Single digits today for Oct trip) and it's still not enough. If I can get it cheap enough we will hit a Spring trip as well.

I dread next year when we are on our off AP year and only go for the summer trip.

I always get Disneyitis..its funny because we plan our next trip when we are there.... and where we want to eat next..

I get obssessed with this board prior to my trips...then between the trips I come back here and life through other's trips!

Welcome to the club!

It honestly only gets worse! It is no exaggeration that I think about going at least once a day! We usually go yearly and we had our first baby this year, DD, and we are now deciding how young we can take her. I'm thinking February...heck she'll almost be a year! We'll see but I am going nuts!!!!

I'm with you guys on this one. Me and my wife took our son about a month ago, and I swear I can't stop thinking about that place. The whole trip was just nothing short of....perfect. I've never been anywhere like that, where the only worry I had for a solid week was if I was going to make it to my next dinner reservation on time! hah hah
As a kid, I always wanted to go to Disney, but my parents were simply not interested... So to finally see these iconic scenes (fireworks at the castle, the ball at epcot) was just unbelievable. I literally felt like I was a kid again. That is a magic that you can't find anywhere else that I have been, and it's that magic that I plan to experience at least once a year again for the rest of my life.

I want to go back now....who's in? lol

Count me in! What I wouldn't do to be walking down Main Street right now! Especially after waking up to a rainy day in Pittsburgh!

Count me in too! I went for our "once in a lifetime trip in Dec 2005",(hah! it's like potato chips...one is never enough) as soon as I was on my way to the airport, I knew we'd be back...went in Sept, planning a trip for next fall with my kids, my parents, my brother & family and a cousin and family...It really doesn't go away...and yes, I'm considering DVC
:teeth:

I think it is a sickness, but as you can see you are not the only one. Currently planning a trip for Thanksgiving 2007. Enjoy !! :sunny:

We feel exactly the same. We are planning our 2nd trip for May 2007 and afraid it's not going to be as perfect as our 1st.

I've got Disneyitis too. I've already planned 5 trips next year (well, one of them is to DL) and still have 3 months until my next trip! I find myself getting fixes by listening to Live365 (MouseRadio and other Disney music), going to disney websites and buying theme park merchandise and oh, will this madness never end? I hope not because I love the madness!

Wow I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one but I knew that already the Magic is overwhelming But I think they put something in the turkey legs that releases 3-4 months later causing a major Disney meltdown and then only to realize the only cure for our ailment is to start planning another trip and lord and behold the second the trip is planned we are cured and then planning truly begins be it 2years away are 3months down the road theres hope of Magic in the future . Welcome to the world of a Diser.

Get used to it! There is no cure, unless you're down there! :upsidedow

We are already planning our next trip and are 42 days from our upcoming trip :confused3 Once bitten by the bug, you cannot turn back :rotfl2:

I'm right there with you. We just got back from our first trip since becoming members of DVC. (9/29-10/7) We will be booking our next trip at the end of this month. I'm absolutely without a doubt addicted to WDW. I'm already planning out where we'll eat and all that stuff. I'm a Disney freak!! And yes, I was already thinking about our next trip while we were at Disney this last time. I always plan ahead. :teeth:

I too am an addict. Unfortunately, we can only go every other year. Just back. from our trip in October and I started planning our next trip. I want to go again next year, but can't convince my husband. So it 2008 October for 9 days. Can't seem to break away from the disboards either. Get my fix everyday to keep the magic going and somehow find a way to go next year.
