Has someone been using Troll Bait again?

My aol e-mail was hacked last night. Everyone in my contact list received an e-mail with a link to click. I immediately sent an e-mail that I had been hacked and not to open anything. I changed my password. I too had the epsilon problem (through Disney, Barclays, L.L. Bean, NY and company.... and the list goes on. I don't blame them for hacking my account.

Exactly how does a hacked email account ruin a cruise????

The risk exposure from the Epsilon hacking is to you, in that you can be targeted in a phishing attempt with email posing as one of Epsilon's clients.

If emails are going to your contact list then this has nothing to do with the Epsilon hacking. You must have a local malware infection, you need to scan and clean your computer.

My dead mother's email was hacked (I guess it was hacked...I never knew what to call it) about a month after she died. Friends and relatives kept contacting me - some in tears - about the emails. I kept trying to shut the thing down but couldn't figure out how.

She continues to send emails to this day.

I never thought to sue.

C'mon man! There is no way in h e double hockey sticks I'm buying that you lost money because of this. Who would hold you accountable for something that wasn't your fault? A simple mass email explaining that your account was hacked would probably be sufficient. Let's be real. Do you really believe that school thinks that a person that applied to work for them would send porn purposely? And look at my avatar.

so since epsilon has a METRIC CRAP TON of clients and from other companies what in the hell makes you think that it was disney that got you? was it the fact that they are the 10000lb gorilla in the room and you wanted to get somthing out of them? anyway anything i could have said has already been said.
