I vaguely recall QS discounts for Pass holders, mobile order including it was a big deal I think. Am I remembering wrong? Disney's AP page with included discounts doesn't list any QS locations.

This AP announcement makes me wonder if there’s any rumors about Tables in Wonderland. I’m hoping it’s back by my October trip.

No quick service AP discounts except for Polite Pig & maybe the burger place at DS? None of the park/resort QS offered discounts.

The mobile order/AP conversation was regarding the table service to-go mobile ordering, if I recall, as we did/do get a slight discount at most table service spots.

Yes we have always had to buy Platinum. Only out of state APs who haven’t are DVC members who could get Gold.

They had better offer some substantial resort discounts because $1300 and taking away PhotoPass is daylight robbery and will be a wrap for me next year.

I bought 2 platinum passed (not plus) on the last day they were selling them, 7/2020. The price was $1195/pass without tax. These included photopass. So, with the new price of $1104 without tax or photopass, I don't think it's that big of a price increase.

EDIT: My math is wrong. My passes were new ones. $1104 is a renewal rate. I didn't see that little word. So, it probably did go up then.

20% is a pretty big deal - that brings it up to Tables in Wonderland. So if we don't need that anymore, will save that amount.

TIW includes a discount on alcohol, but the pass and Chase Visa do not.

Glad I renewed my AP at the 60 day mark which keeps me, if I am reading it correctly, under the Platinum Pass (which includes Photopass) until it expires in October 2022. At least I hope I am reading it correctly. :headache: It was also less pricey for the renewals for my husband and I.
That's my understanding. Mine just expired on 8/13. I renewed it before then. My husband and son are not set for a renewal until November, so they will be getting the new ones for our Thanksgiving trip.

I haven't been since Christmas 2018 so I didn't know they added table service to go, that would be amazing for my family since my daughter with ARFID tends to just pick at whatever we order her so we end up swinging by a QS after. Being able to take the meal to go would mean she would actually be able to eat what we order (maybe...here's hoping anyways).

They rolled it out this year, but it's pretty limited to resort restaurants (like Kona/Sanaa/etc), my assumption to meet the demand of hotel guests wanting to eat outdoors/in their rooms due to Covid. You can look on MDE to see the restaurant options. Just click "Order Food" and scroll - the table service options with it will say "to go" next to their name.

And on top of that, it's not even included in the Genie+ like in DL. Nickel and diming, but more so quarter and half-dollaring.

It makes sense to include Photopass for us over here. Most of us only do day trips to the parks and photopass options aren't as great here. Also, when I go out to WDW next year, I might not want to get Genie+ every day that I'm there, but I will likely want my photopass photos each and every day. I have found over years of going to both DL & WDW, that I take way more advantage of the photopass system at WDW than I do at DL, there's a great return on value. There are more parks, more rides with photos, more options, and more magic shots. The average person at DL is a local and we tend not to waste a lot of time waiting for photos. If they kept photopass as a $20 per day add on (or $79 per week) at Disneyland on top of the Genie+ cost, most of us would likely never purchase it.

But, adding on photopass as an option at WDW is something I would definitely take advantage of since there are so many more (and in my opinion, better) photo opportunities and it's more of a vacation park than a locals park.

Back when we had MaxPass here, it was $125 to add it to our APs. So I'm not surprised by the $99 add-on for Photopass at WDW now.

The TIW seriously influences whether or not we do TS or QS and the alcohol discount makes us drink at the table. Otherwise, we save it for an evening nightcap/glass of wine or two in the room.
No TIW will push us to split stays with a DDP for 2 of the nights and a massive feeding frenzy, and then take it easy with QS :P
