Hello from the Parks everyone. I have asked several cast members about fireworks. They all seem to think they will return on the 4th of July. The lines seem long. We are at DHS today. Tried to get Boarding Group for RotR at 7:00. Selected my party and then got message that all groups were gone. In literally 1 second. We got in the first bus over and the crowd coming in was huge. Walked back to Slinky Dog Dash and the wait was already 90 minutes. So we walked onto Mania and Alien Saucers then Star Tours. We did Muppet Vision then the Vacation Spot Cartoon. Runaway Railroad broke down just as we were getting in the line. Now at lunch and the most popular rides are all 45 minutes or longer. Slinky is still the longest at 70 minutes or longer.

I for one hope the Universal news stays here. I'm already mourning the loss of the old thread, so let's allow the Universal news on here as well. If tons of posts of dancing gifs are allowed surely we can have some actual Universal news.

For DVC members, CMs at BLT have said they think Top of the World will open when fireworks come back but probably to BLT Guests only at first.

Your party should be auto selected! If it isn’t, just get one for you and then go to guest services and they will fix for you. Literally do not hesitate for a moment on any screen.

IMO the issue wasn’t necessarily Universal news, it was what the Universal news was about and how it would inevitably take the thread in messy directions and risk getting locked. General Universal news, particularly as it relates to Epic Universe developments, should be ok.

Exactly, I think we were just trying to avoid the rabbit hole of the 'm-word' conversations. That entire news info yesterday got three different threads shut down/deleted from what I saw!

All of us with June trips sitting here like..... I'm going to be real bummed if we miss out on a lot of things returning just because we came at the beginning of summer!

Our trip ends July 3rd, so yeah. This.

They aren't enforcing it. So it's back to normal.

According to what I read the CMs gave no distancing directions and nearly every seat was filled for one of the shows so I would think no unless there's space to leave one open. Here's one of the pictures I saw someone post on Facebook:

Right? We are starting our trip with 2 days at Universal next month. I ended up grabbing dinner reservations for both of the days because.... well, that's what you do, right (as a Disney planner)? LOL But, I'm still slightly stressing about what we'll eat midday since some reports from people on FB make it sound like it's a mess trying to get meals at "quick service" restaurants in the parks. Guess we'll find out in a few weeks.

We leave in 14 days and am pretty much resigned to the fact we won’t have fireworks, which is a huge bummer but I’m keeping fingers and toes crossed!

It makes sense that fireworks would resume 7/4. It’s so unfortunate for those of us going in June. Still hoping they start soon though

Exactly! And bring back shows! Like if you're gonna put me in the Skyliner with other people then you can bring back some shows. Hopefully all this hiring will show results soon...
