Just an observation today from Liberty Tree Tavern that is hopefully optimistic... every server was being followed by another in training. Also, our server told us that there are still around 400 former restaurant cast members that have not been recalled yet.

We are here now and every bus we've ridden has also had someone training, and we've seen several buses go through property that say "training" in the window.

Hey guys! So, I just wanted to give you a heads up, since I’m not going to be able to give 100% to this thread in the upcoming weeks, I’ve asked a couple of our fellow friends/posters if they would please keep on top of the news for all of you! I’d appreciate it if you could please be supportive Thanks so much @HokieRaven5 and @Heather07438, I truly appreciate it I’ll be sure to put in a good word with Mickey for the thread! (not sure if it would be weird to just start dancing!) Hopefully he’ll send some more good news your way!!! I’ll stop in time to time, and I’ll report any new changes if I see any. but in the meantime… I’ll miss you guys!

At AK, regular rope drop not back today . Never have done FOP queue (so cool!) before but entered the inside part at 7:30, line constantly moving, off ride 7:55.

Tollbooth opened at 7 am. Tapstyles opened 7:15, we drove and arrived around same time as buses, no downside to driving today (aside from $25 lol)

About to get into boats at Navi now. Said 20 minutes but waited maybe 10.

Well this is a first. A giant charter bus from a different company that Disney has apparently outsourced just pulled up to the towers bus stop at Coronado springs with a piece of paper that said Animal Kingdom stuck in the window and loaded ppl up.

They have been using charter busses for overflow during COVID. I saw it happen a few times at POP last month.

We had that at least twice during our AoA trip in June. Disabled riders seemed to be SoL when that happened so they must intersperse with other, "regular" buses.

There was a *lot* of this when we were there a few weeks ago. Probably 50/50 in terms of Disney v. outsourced buses.

We also noticed the ratio of the charter busses gets higher later in the day. Saw some very irritated Disney bus drivers trying to find a bus for a family with a wheel chair after a couple of charter busses in a row arrived for their resort.
