Disney News, Discussion & an Element of Fun - 2025 Edition

Honestly I think Disney is trying to lock in all of the construction workers from EU before they move on. I've known several people in that line of work and they are either always traveling to jobs out of state or move cities/states every few years following big jobs.

But their absence wouldn't stop me from visiting HS and I doubt it will any other significant amount of people also
Yeah I haven't seen Muppetvision since the Backlot Tour still existed in the park so I'm very indifferent about it going away. The only ride in the park that would get me to stop visiting permanently if it was removed or rethemed is Tower of Terror.

This comment got me thinking. If ToT closed, I would be very sad because its far and away my favorite ride there. But I like the Star Wars and Toy Story stuff enough that I would still visit the park. Same with MK and Epcot. If my favorite rides there disappeared, I would still visit.

The dilemma would by AK. If EE were gone, my partner would probably have no interest in going there (even though she loves animals). The Pandora rides do nothing for her. So if that coaster went away, we might not visit again.

I love Muppetvision and will be sad to see it go. I'm an child of the 80s who grew up watching all the Muppet movies (Muppets take Manhattan is my favorite) and loved the Muppet babies tv show. I love all the puns and joke in the holding room with the props before you go into the theater, there's so much detail. At the main entrance there's a little office that window that says closed and key is under the mat, you can pick up the mat and there's a key under it. :) There are a lot of animatronics in addition to the live actor who comes out into the audience too which makes it a much better experience than just a theater with 3d film IMHO.

I love all of that, too. I love showing people the key! And the jokes on the doors as one walks to the pre-show area. I hope that least some of all of that charm will get transferred to wherever this ends up. If it's just a 3D film, I'd be sad knowing how much is missing

I'm the wrong person to talk to about this as I believe HS is the second worst Disney park in the US LOL My favorite ride in the park was already removed so if Tower left, there isn't really anything else that appeals to me. The stuff that does appeal to me are attractions I can go visit another Disney park to experience. I don't NEED to go to HS.

Its ok. We all miss the Deal or No Deal experience

Bakso the Sumatran Tiger Cub Draws Big Crowds at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Posted: Thursday January 30, 2025 - 10:13am EST

Bakso, the rare Sumatran tiger cub who yesterday made his debut at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, is already a must-see attraction. Guests eager to catch a glimpse of him on the Maharajah Jungle Trek are seeing wait times of up to 20 minutes as crowds gather for a look at the young tiger in his new habitat.

Best Times to See Bakso

The Maharajah Jungle Trek is currently open from 9 am to 5 pm, but Cast Members are advising that Bakso’s schedule remains fluid. He’s still adjusting to his surroundings, often retreating inside before venturing back out with encouragement from his mother, Sohni. For the best chance to see him, plan to visit early in the day when he’s more active.
