Hours Extended at All Four Walt Disney World Theme Parks in Late December 2023

Magic Kingdom will open an hour earlier, at 8 a.m., on December 17, 18, 19, 21, and 22. Early entry for Walt Disney World hotel guests will begin at 7:30 a.m.

The park closes for regular guests at 6 p.m. on December 17, 19, 21, and 22, as they are the final days of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Magic Kingdom will remain open until 11 p.m. on December 18 and 23, and until 10 p.m. on December 20. The park will still open at 9 a.m. on December 20 and 23.

The only hour extension at EPCOT is on December 31. The park will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m., instead of closing at midnight.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will open a half hour earlier at 8:30 a.m. on December 17, 18, and 19. Early entry will begin at 8 a.m.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom has an extra hour in the morning every day from December 17 through December 23. The park will now open at 8 a.m., with early entry at 7:30 a.m.

Extended Evening Hours Perk Returns to Normal Cadence in 2024

After having a rather dynamic end to 2023 thanks to extra-charge parties at Magic Kingdom, the Extended Evening Hours perk for Deluxe Resort guests will return to normal in the first weeks of 2024. That is, guests can expect an alternating lineup of Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Here’s a look at the currently announced Extended Evening Hours schedule through early February:

This store is consistently a madhouse in terms of crowds. This sign IMO seems like it'll just be in the way rather than help anyone who is lost. This section of the store in particular is difficult to navigate through due to crowds.

New Year's Eve at EPCOT and more dates in December at Magic Kingdom reach capacity for Disney World Passholders

December 31, 2023, had already reached capacity for regular park tickets and resort hotel guests at EPCOT and Magic Kingdom.

More dates have also reached capacity for Annual Passholders at Magic Kingdom, with December 9, 16, and 19 joining the previously sold-out December 25.

We finally watched the Haunted Mansion movie tonight and went on with pretty low expectations, but it was actually really good. Very faithful to the ride, good acting, nice story

It was good. It wasn't great or anything, but certainly entertaining and worth the watch. People are so harsh on things. Even the first HM movie with Eddie Murphy - I had avoided it for a long time because everyone said it was so bad, but when I finally did watch it, I found it to be pretty good. Again, it's not amazing or anything, but it's become a solid Halloween season watch for me, and I think the new movie could as well.

I enjoyed it also. I loved Wilson, DeVito and Haddish the most.
