Disney+ Delays Ant-Man 3 Special Amid Jonathan Majors Controversy

Following Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania's debut on Disney+, the film's Assembled special was set to debut on Wednesday, June 14.

Now, the special has been delayed indefinitely, with no signs pointing to when Disney will put it on its streaming service.

While no reason was given for this delay, some fans have speculated that it's tied to star Jonathan Majors' ongoing assault case, which could mean trouble for the Assembled episode if the cast and crew speak highly about him and offer praise for his performance.

Just wanted to chime in and say I saw Elemental tonight. It's really good and I do recommend it. It looks gorgeous too! I had a good time.

Good to hear! We're not seeing it until Sunday because that's when we could find good seats at our closest movie theater that has a Dolby Cinema theater... it's 40 min away... but I'm a sucker for really good picture & sound quality

Significant, to me at least, that the parks bookkeeper got the job. This should boost the parks division clout relative to the Hollywood crowd.

Just an opinion. Lansberry is in charge of the books for the Parks and Experiences Division and is more familiar with that operation than the Entertainment Division. The folks that worked with him at parks now have someone who is now part of top management.

Good to hear! We're not seeing it until Sunday because that's when we could find good seats at our closest movie theater that has a Dolby Cinema theater... it's 40 min away... but I'm a sucker for really good picture & sound quality

It was just me, so I was able to find a seat. It wasn't too crowded, but the "good rows" were well taken. I am hoping this movie surprises with good word-of-mouth. It really was great and is more akin to classic Pixar. It's a little schmaltzy in a way, but, you know. Haveing good picture quality on this one is a must - Renderman was working overtime on this thing and it is gorgeous!

Yeah, the only thing I don't like about it is that the tickets go on sale at odd times and it's never consistent. For thos ebig, even tmovies tha teveryone wants, sometimes all the good seats are sold before I even know they're up. It is nice though to not have to get to the theater hours in advance.

It's got 75% on the Tomatoes - whcih is kinda low for Pixar, but still solid. I think audiences will like it more than the critics anyway.

That's good to hear! I saw Across the Spiderverse last night (AMAZING, by the way!) and there was a screening for Elemental next to my theater. There was a huge line to get in, mostly families with kids. It was good to see such a huge turnout for a Pixar movie again. Personally I most likely won't see it in theaters.
